Hype Club respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit our website, apply for membership, apply as an insider, communicate with us, or use approved Hype Club access channels.
Hype Club is a private lifestyle and access network. Applications are reviewed manually. No payment is requested unless an application is approved.
1. Our privacy promise
We collect personal information only for practical Hype Club purposes.
We use it to review applications, keep a record of who is in Hype Club, maintain accurate contact details, manage membership access, protect the group, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not rent, trade, or pass personal information to advertisers.
We do not use application details or contact details for unrelated advertising or retargeting.
We do not use your phone number, Telegram, Instagram, email, or other contact details for unrelated marketing.
Where possible, we delete, minimise, or anonymise information we no longer need.

Where a postal address is legally required for a legitimate data protection, legal, regulatory, or formal business purpose, it can be provided through an appropriate verified channel.
3. Information we collect
We may collect personal information when you use the website, submit an application, communicate with us, or join Hype Club.
This may include full name, date of birth, phone number, Telegram username, Instagram or main social handle, current city and country, travel destinations, travel dates, reason for wanting to join Hype Club, lifestyle, work, network, interests and background information, referral information, club code if provided, membership tier preference, plus one or group application details where provided, application answers and notes, approval status, membership status, renewal status, and access history.
4. Insider application information
If you apply as an insider, we may also collect destinations you know best, whether you are local, seasonal, or connected there, relevant knowledge, recommendations, introductions, venues, parties, access or opportunities, current affiliations, roles, venue links, promoter links, concierge links, hospitality links, driver links, door team links or event roles, any conflicts of interest, and any other context you choose to provide.
5. Communication information
If you contact us through Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, email, website forms, or other channels, we may collect your messages, username or handle, contact details, any information you choose to share, support or access requests, and admin notes needed to manage your application or membership.
6. Telegram, Hype Club bots and member support tools
Hype Club may use Telegram groups, channels, direct messages and custom Telegram bots to provide member access, updates, support, concierge style assistance, reminders, onboarding, moderation, group management and other membership related functions.
Telegram is a separate platform and has its own privacy policy and terms. When you use Telegram, Telegram may process your information under its own policies. You should refer to Telegram's own Privacy Policy for information about how Telegram handles your data.
When you interact with Hype Club custom bots, the bots may receive information made available through Telegram, such as your Telegram username, display name, profile picture, messages you send to the bot, button interactions, commands, group membership visibility, and other information you choose to provide through Telegram.
Hype Club uses bot related information only for practical membership purposes, such as managing access, delivering updates, supporting members, handling requests, protecting the group, improving the member experience, and maintaining accurate membership records.
We do not sell bot interaction data. We do not rent, trade, or pass bot interaction data to advertisers. We do not use bot interaction data for unrelated advertising or retargeting. We do not use Telegram contact details for unrelated marketing.
Where possible, we delete, minimise, or anonymise bot related information we no longer need.
Hype Club is responsible for how it uses information received through its own custom bots. Telegram is responsible for how Telegram processes information as the platform provider.
7. Payment and membership information
If you are approved and choose to join, we may collect or receive information relating to your selected membership tier, payment status, renewal status, access period, member badge or access category, approval history, and membership notes needed to manage your access.
Payments may be handled by Stripe, Wise, or another approved payment provider.
We do not intend to store full card details ourselves. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and terms.
8. Website and technical information
At launch, we do not intentionally use advertising pixels, retargeting tools, marketing cookies, user profiling tools, or behavioural tracking.
We may be able to see basic website activity, such as how many times the site or certain pages have been viewed. This is used only to understand basic site activity and does not involve selling data, retargeting visitors, or building advertising profiles.
We do not use application details or contact details for unrelated advertising or retargeting.
If we later add analytics tools, advertising pixels, retargeting tools, marketing cookies, or similar tracking technologies, we will update this Privacy Policy and add any required cookie notice or consent controls.
9. How we use your information
We use your information to review membership and insider applications, confirm that applicants are 18 or over, contact applicants about applications, approval, access, or support, keep a record of who has applied, who has been approved, and who is currently in the group, maintain accurate and up to date contact details, manage member access, renewals, badges, approvals, removals and access history, provide Telegram based access, updates, support and member tools, protect the privacy, safety and trust of the group, prevent fake applications, duplicate accounts, spam, fraud, member harvesting, unauthorised selling, privacy breaches, harassment or abuse, manage insider status, privileges and conflicts of interest, process approved payments, keep legal, accounting, tax, payment or compliance records, handle disputes, safety issues, rule breaches, or access problems, and improve the application flow, website and member experience.
We do not use your personal information for unrelated advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
10. Our lawful bases
Depending on the situation, we rely on one or more lawful bases.
11. Contract or steps before a contract
We use information to review your application, process approved membership access, manage your selected membership tier, handle renewals, and provide access after approval.
12. Legitimate interests
We use information to protect the private network, review applicants, maintain member safety, prevent abuse, manage insider trust, enforce community standards, keep member records, maintain accurate contact details, operate Hype Club responsibly, and provide member support through approved access channels and tools.
13. Legal obligation
We may use information where required for accounting, tax, legal, payment, regulatory or compliance reasons.
14. Consent
We may rely on consent for optional updates, optional bonus access requests, optional waitlists, or certain communication preferences.
You can withdraw consent at any time.
15. Information about other people
If you provide information about a partner, friend, plus one, group member, referral, contact, insider or other person, you should only do so if you have a valid reason and permission to share it.
You should make sure they understand that their information may be shared with Hype Club for application review, approval, access and community safety purposes.
16. Sensitive information
Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary.
Sensitive information can include health details, political views, religious beliefs, ethnicity, biometric data, criminal history, trade union membership or similar information.
If you include sensitive information in free text fields, Telegram messages, bot messages, or other communications, we may process it only where necessary to handle your request, protect safety, comply with law, or manage the application or membership process.
17. Who can access your information
Personal information is only accessible to approved Hype Club admins who need it to review applications, manage membership, maintain contact records, provide support, operate approved member tools, or protect the group.
We limit access where possible.
18. Where information is stored
Application and membership data may be stored in approved admin systems, website form systems, Telegram bot systems, databases, payment systems, communication platforms, or dedicated Hype Club devices used to operate and manage the service.
At launch, application forms are submitted to Hype Club approved Telegram bot systems. The bot logs the application, notifies approved admins, and may store application records within Hype Club controlled bot infrastructure and approved admin systems for application review, membership administration, safety, and record keeping.
Hype Club uses a dedicated device and approved admin setup for managing applications, membership records, bot notifications and related admin where possible.
19. Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent, trade, or pass personal information to advertisers.
We may share information only where necessary with approved Hype Club admins, approved admin or technical service providers, website hosting providers, form or database providers, payment providers such as Stripe or Wise, Telegram bot or automation providers used to operate Hype Club tools, communication platforms, professional advisers such as accountants, legal advisers or compliance advisers, and regulators, authorities or legal bodies where required by law.
Where possible, we share only the information needed for the specific purpose.
20. Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram and other platforms
If you communicate with us or access Hype Club through Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, payment providers, or similar platforms, those platforms may process your information under their own privacy policies.
We are not responsible for how those platforms operate.
21. International use
Hype Club may involve members, insiders, service providers, platforms and partners in different countries.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will take reasonable steps to protect it and use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable data protection laws.
22. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed.
For approved members, we may keep basic details for as long as needed to manage membership, maintain accurate contact details, confirm access history, handle renewals, protect the group, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
For applicants who are not approved, withdraw, or do not proceed, we aim to delete or minimise their application information within 90 days where possible.
In some cases, we may keep a limited safety record after the 90 day period where needed to prevent repeat abuse, duplicate applications, fraud, harassment, rule breaches, disputes, or misuse of the private network.
For former members, we may keep a limited record where needed for accounting, dispute handling, safety, rule enforcement, or to prevent misuse.
For Telegram bot interactions and support messages, we aim to keep only what is reasonably needed to provide support, manage access, protect the group, maintain accurate membership records, or handle disputes and safety issues.
Where possible, we wipe, minimise, anonymise, or archive information we no longer need.
23. Deletion requests
You can ask us to delete your information.
We will do so where possible, unless we need to keep limited records for legitimate business, legal, accounting, safety, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or protection of the private network.

24. Your rights
Depending on where you are located and which laws apply, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, restrict how we use your information, object to certain uses of your information, withdraw consent where consent is used, request a copy of your information, and complain to a data protection authority.

If you are concerned about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
26. Data breaches
If a personal data breach occurs and we are legally required to report it, we will notify the relevant authority and affected individuals where required by law.
27. Age requirement
Hype Club is for people aged 18 or over.
We do not knowingly accept applications from anyone under 18. If we discover that someone under 18 has submitted information, we may delete it and reject or remove access.
28. Approval decisions
Hype Club applications are reviewed manually.
We may approve, reject, pause or remove access based on fit, trust, safety, community standards, application details, behaviour, conflicts, misuse or other relevant context.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
29. Marketing and updates
Hype Club may contact you about practical membership matters, such as application status, approval, access, renewals, rule changes, safety notices, service updates, or important group information.
We do not use your phone number, Telegram, Instagram, email, or other contact details for unrelated advertising.
We may occasionally send relevant Hype Club updates to approved members where they relate directly to membership, access, destinations, renewals, group operation, or services requested by members.
You can ask us to stop sending non essential updates at any time. Important membership, access, safety, renewal or account messages may still be sent where necessary.
30. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
The latest version will be posted on the website with an updated effective date.
